2. Enable Bluetooth on your phone.
3. Make sure your Plumb Guard is turned on.
4. Open App.
5. Press Scan for Plumb Guard.
6. Click on your Plumb Guard serial number to the one you want to connect.
Frequently Asked Questions
Plumb Guard enhances safety by detecting voltage on both sides of the pipe being worked on, relative to the ground. When voltage is present, it issues an audible alarm and flashes a light to warn the user.
Plumb Guard actively monitors for electrical voltage in pipes during plumbing work. If voltage is detected, it alerts the user to halt operations until a qualified electrician can evaluate the situation, thus preventing potential electrocution.
Plumb Guard is user-friendly and does not require official training. Fuseco provides a comprehensive manual and clear instructions with each unit. However, it's recommended to check with your contractor for any specific training arrangements they may offer.
The alarm is set to trigger at a detected voltage of 6 volts.
